Seven days of rain, four days of fashion

Freetown is just emerging from it’s annual meteorological Armageddon, the infamous “7 day rain”. It’s not an easy time to remain well dressed, the temptation is to just wack on a wet suit and be done with it. But if there’s one person who’s style never falters, it’s Fashpack poster boy and Priest with Attitude, Reverend Emmanuel Benson Palmer.

Rev_EmmanuelBensonPalmer_lowresDespite the torrential downpour (and it really was sheeting down when this shot was taken), the Reverend is just dandy in this three piece chocolate brown suit.

Reverand_Emmanuel_Benson_Palmer_lowresThe Reverend manages to smile through those raindrops as he shows us his professional uniform, a distinguished white cloak with quilted detail at the front. The Reverend is not only a sartorial master but a well known healer in the Freetown Community.

PWA_colour_lowresYou could almost be mistaken for thinking the sun is coming out in this shot. The Reverend’s winning smile teamed with his bright printed Ghanian mumu is making me forget those rainy day blues.

Reverend_low Res Once again, no dowdy raincoat or wellington boots here. As rain gauges across Freetown overflow, The Reverend decides upon a full matchy three piece, another little number he picked up from Ghana.
